People who know me know that I'm an information guy. I'm the one people go to for current events, even if it just happened a few minutes ago. I need lots of sources for this information, and some websites that have popped up in the past couple of years have provided great sources of information to me.

Everyone now seems to know about Digg and Reddit and Fark, but there are many other great sites. Blogspan.org is a great site for news junkies. They have several different categories of blogs, such as Media and Science, with well-written and detailed posts that include pictures.

The "blogosphere," as many web users are calling it, is one of the greatest innovations of news in the past 40 years, and blogspan.org is at the forefront of this new form of media. If you have to have the latest news, and I know political nuts like myself do, you've got to check out this site.
