President Bush quietly took control of the Federal Government last week, the result of an executive order that gives the president the power to review all regulations before they are published in the Federal Register.

The new order would allow the president to place his own agenda in regulations on public health, safety, civil rights, and the environment. Bush has continually taken a pro-business stance in those areas so expect the little guy to suffer when the new multi-billion dollar coal plant is built next door.
