How Many Draft Deferments Did Cheney Get?

Dick Cheney sits right up there with Richard Nixon as possibly the worst American of the past 50 years. How terrible could one person be? Dick Cheney supported the war in Vietnam, a war that took place when he was in his twenties, but received a total of 5 draft deferments. No, he wasn't studying in England as a Rhodes scholar, he was nearly flunking out of Yale and then later on going to community college.

Dick Cheney has been in charge of many Americans going to war, but has never once been on the line himself, despite having done nothing to deserve such a privilege. He even knocked up his wife, Lynne, so he could apply for a hardship exemption. Soon afterwards, his career in politics started with an internship during the... Nixon administration. What a jerk!
