Negroponte Was Barred From Saying Global And Warming At The Same Time

Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte let slip a little White House secret that I'm sure the Bush administration doesn't want us to know. Apparently Negroponte was barred from saying the words "global" and "warming" in the same sentence.

Scientists have contended for years that the Bush administration has been manipulating their data to hide the fact that our biggest businesses are causing pollution that can be tied to observable global warming. That kind of evidence could be bad news for some of Bush's biggest supporters, including the oil industry. The fact that the administration would stoop so low as to censor the use of the term just shows how far they were willing to go to hide the truth.
