Will America Suffer The Same Fate As The Roman Empire?
I found a great article for you history buffs out there. It turns out there are many similarities between the Roman Empire during its decline and the America that we see today.
To sum up some of these similarities (read the article for details): increasing debt per capita, currency devaluation (I question this one, the dollar has not been devalued that much, if you put it into perspective), and a huge trade deficit (definitly a major problem). An overstretched military and poor leadership are also similarities that can be debated.
It's a good article, and worth your time.
