Rudy A Go For '08
Rudy Giuliani has thrown is comb-over into the ring. The former NYC mayor will run for president in 2008. This is the second time he will be facing Hillary Clinton. He dropped out of the 2000 senate race against the former first lady due to health problems.
Rudy stayed on as mayor of New York City, and became a hero to many after the 9/11 attacks, apparently because he didn't roll over and give the city away to the Taliban. Perhaps I'm just ignorant, but can anyone name anything particularly useful Giuliani did after 9/11 that any other mayor with an ounce of common sense would not have done?
I would not put money on the Rudy campaign's chances, because the man has a closet full of dirty laundry. Everything from illicit love affairs to corrupt cop appointments is in there, and it would not survive a race against someone like John McCain, at least not in most states.
