2007 H&R Volkswagen GTI
As if the VW GTI needed any more good press, check out the awesome mod created by H&R. The turbocharged I4 is still a powerhouse for such a small car, but the performance upgrades make this car race and show-ready right off the lot (if you could buy one off the lot, which you can't). The DSG transmission launches this car through 6 gears, with second gear producing the kind of launch that'll turn even those bookworm chicks at the library into car crazy slutes(sic).
