Bugatti Veyron Video

Here's the coolest video of my favorite new car, the Bugatti Veyron, that you will see today. Watch the Veyron being unloaded from a trailer, driving around town, and finally accelerating on the track from 0 to 210 km/h in a matter of seconds.

New images of the 2006 Dodge Challenger concept

Small mock-ups of the 2006 Dodge Challenger concept have been around for months, but this is the first look of the actual prototype of the car, besides spy shots that were grainy and not very large. I think it looks like a fairly cool, aggressive car, but there are some things I'd like to change. The front bumper/fog light area looks a little strange, perhaps too smooth and modern. Those wheels are also ugly, which is odd because most concept cars have wheels that are a lot cooler than the ones that end up on the actual production model. I'd like to see something that looks a little bit more like Mag Wheels, which I would actually bet will be what's on the production model, if it ever gets made.

West Coast Customs Makes Dodge Charger That Everyone Wanted

Just looking at the Charger built by famed customizer West Coast Customs, I can't help but think to myself: "this is what the production car should have been." It's not an unoriginal copy of the original with new internal parts, but rather a clearly new car with a design inspired by the original. Notice the chrome grill. It looks a lot better than the production grill, and I'm sure if Dodge made enough of them they probably wouldn't cost much more than the grill they're using now. Notice the two doors. That's right, only two, like the original. The Charger should not be a four-door sedan. There's a reason why reinventing a long-lost car model creates so much buzz. People want to have a modern car with a piece of that nostalgia that takes them back to when they were young and free. Changing the car too much, or just using a modern vehicle model and sticking an old model badge on it (like the Pontiac GTO) kind of defeats the whole point of giving the car that name.

2006 Ascari KZ1

I've been hearing a lot of buzz lately about the new Ascari KZ1. This car looks like a cross between a Porsche Carrera GT and a Ferrari 360 Modena. The top speed is listed as 200 mph, with a 0-60 time under 3.7 seconds. The production run is just 50 vehicles, so chances are you will not be getting one, or even seeing one, in your lifetime. No word on the price, but you can't afford it.

2004 APS Nissan 350Z Twin-Turbo

Here's a pretty sweet modified car based on the 2004 Nissan 350Z Touring, a fast car to begin with. Not only does it look incredible, but it's also really fast. It can do the quarter mile in under 11.5 seconds, although it can do that on the track unless the driver wants to get in trouble for not having a roll cage. I'm a huge fan of the 350Z design, and this car improves on that with it's two-tone paint scheme and black Racing Hart wheels.

The Finest 1966 Plymouth Hemi Satellite You'll See Today

Here are some fine pictures of a beautifully restored 1966 Plymouth Hemi Satellite. The price is $130,000, so this car is obviously not for the average muscle car fan. This monster packs 425hp under the hood, and it's one of the finest examples of one of the earlier cars of the muscle car era. I hate to end all of my posts in this blog begging for someone to buy me a car in exchange for some publicity, but I think I'd really look good in this thing.

Ferrari F50 On EBay - Buy Me This Car

Someone is selling a Ferrari F50 (US Model) on Ebay. The starting price, which is lower than the seller's reserve, is $675,000. The buy it now price is $725,000. I don't care what Jeremy Clarkson, host of Top Gear, says about the F50, I think it's a beautiful car. He prefers the F40, because it lacks everything modern. It's called evolution Jeremy, and it's making cars better, not worse. Now, back to the topic at hand: buying me a Ferrari F50. This is the same offer I've made for several other high-end cars. Buy me the car, and I'll advertise whatever you want on it, and I promise to make at least one cross-country trip within one year, using the car covered in your advertisement. I will also make a website that worships the ground you stand on.*
