coding
tips

| There's always new stuff to learn in the world of coding. If you're
just starting out (and you want to become a webmaster) I suggest
you try to learn in the following order: HTML, CSS, Javascript,
Flash, other (XML, PHP, etc). Learning HTML is essential for any
webmaster, even if you already have Frontpage or Dreamweaver. I
wish I had learned CSS a lot earlier, because it really is useful.
When you want to really spice up your site you'll start learning
Javascript and then Flash (including actionscript, which is the
challenging part of Flash that makes it so fun and interactive).

soon I'll be posting some tutorials to help get you started with
your website, starting with the basics of HTML, and eventually moving
to CSS, Javascript, XML, and PHP. |
