Replacements Reunite For New Songs in Box Set

The Replacements were a pioneering alternative rock band of the 1980's who most modern alt fans have never heard of. Anyway, they will be reuniting for a couple new songs on their upcoming retrospective album "Don'y You Know Who I Think I Was?: The Best of the Replacements." Be sure to check their music out if you've never heard of them, it's really a lot better than anything being made today.

Whitney Houston's Life Now Controlled By Crack

It appears that Whitney Houston has given up any attempt to fight her addiction to crack cocaine, and her life has been in a downward spiral for several years. Photos taken of Houston recently show that she is truly a wreck, a haggard old "bag lady" with expensive furs instead of a shopping cart full of meager possessions. Her paranoia now keeps her hidden from the media that was so brutal to her for marrying troubled singer Bobby Brown.

Whitney's sister Tina is now telling everyone who will listen what has happened to Whitney Houston. She obviously fears for her sister's life, and hopes someone out there will be able to help. Unfortunately, it may be too late. I just wish we could go back in time and keep Whitney from ever being introduced to the horrible drug. We could have taken that first free sample and given it to Paris Hilton, Kevin Federline, or George W. Bush.

I've just been told that George W. Bush was already an addict by the time Whitney was introduced to the stuff. My mistake. We could still get Paris and Kevin.

Ocean's 13 In The Works

Did anyone else think that Ocean's Twelve was a painful sequel to a movie that was a very good remake of a not-so-great Rat Pack film? Apparently not Steven Soderbergh, as he's been slated to be the director of yet another sequel titled - you guessed it - Ocean's 13. Apparently the whole gang is back, which is quite a feat considering most of them are A-list stars. I have no doubt that this movie will be no better than the second. Has a third movie in a series ever been better than the first or second? Drop a comment for me if you can think of one.
