Early review of the new Rocky movie are pouring in, and they're actually positive. It seems the 6th movie in the series is able to capture the purity of the original without getting bogged down with all that cheese that hampered the four sequels.

The film, like the Rocky character, is a big underdog during the holiday season. There are sevearl big movies coming out that shoud be able to beat Rocky at the box office, but might find that it's easier said than done. Rocky manages to not only avoid embarassing the franchise, but actually improving it.
